PRP & Mesotheraphy

There may be some situations where hair transplantation is not necessary. Rarity in a very small area, density hair but only the hair follicles weakening, etc. like. In these cases, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) applied to the hair is the process of supporting the scalp tissue and the hair follicles within it by using materials from your own blood. Mesotherapy is the application of ready-made materials taken from outside to the hair.
These methods, which can be applied easily and provide effective results in a short time, are shown as one of the good medical treatment methods for hair loss.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP is the patient's own serum. PRP; (Platelet rich plasma) is the plasma obtained by centrifuging and separating the blood after taking blood from the person. This plasma contains platelets that are active in wound healing, as well as mediators that trigger wound healing.

PRP Centrifugation

The PRP we obtain through centrifugation is actually the serum, i.e. edema, sent by the body into the tissue in every injury. When this PRP is obtained by the centrifuge method and injected into the area we want the body to heal, the body will notice that area as extra.

The healing cells contained in PRP will nourish and support that area in the acute period, that is, in the first 72 hours, and will ensure that blood vessels and healing cells come to that area in the following period.

Mesotheraphy

Mesotherapy contains vitamins, minerals and blood vessel dilators etc. that the scalp needs. When it is not possible to have PRP, when the patient's own blood values are low, etc. In some cases, mesotherapy can be applied. Mesotherapy can also be applied in combination with PRP to increase the effect.

Does PRP grow hair?

The follicle does not fall out along with the hair, the follicles remain there. It is generally thought that these follicles also disappear in hair loss, but they continue to remain, they just do not fulfill their function. The problem with hair loss is that new hair does not replace the lost hair. In such a case, the follicles usually go dormant in the early period. If, as a result of the PRP treatment applied by the doctor, the hair starts to grow after 1-2 sessions, it is understood that the follicles have gone dormant. In other words, PRP awakens dormant hair follicles and strengthens weakened follicles.

How many sessions of PRP Hair Treatment should be performed?

To control hair loss with PRP hair treatment, we recommend that you have PRP once every 15 or 30 days. When you have regular PRP hair treatment for 3-4 months, you will see that your hair becomes stronger and returns to its normal shedding routine. However, this routine may change depending on the doctor's recommendation.

What should be done after PRP?

PRP and mesotherapy treatments, which are applied every 2-4 weeks, are generally recommended for 4-6 sessions. The hair should not be washed for the first 6 hours after the procedure, and if swelling occurs, ice should be applied. You should not enter the sauna or steam room for two days after the procedure, and you should stay away from the pool and the sea for a while due to the risk of infection.
